About Us
Run-A-Way Buckers was founded as a community-rooted agricultural initiative built on stewardship, discipline, and generational knowledge. Guided by the principle in 1 Corinthians 3:6, “One plants, one waters, but God gives the increase,” the organization reflects a deep commitment to cultivating both the land and the people who sustain it.

Established in 1999 by Reginald Stewart Sr. and Brenda Stewart, Run-A-Way Buckers emerged from a vision to create something stronger than an escape, a foundation. What began as a response to real challenges in urban communities has grown into a respected presence that emphasizes ownership, structure, and long-term impact through agriculture.

Today, Run-A-Way Buckers represents a network of individuals and families who have developed a mastery of farming practices and now use that knowledge to strengthen their communities. The work is centered on building sustainable systems, preserving agricultural traditions, and equipping others with the mindset and skills to lead. It is not simply about growing crops, it is about growing communities that are resilient, self-sufficient, and rooted in purpose.

Our services include produce distribution featuring locally grown, fresh, natural produce, as well as responsibly farm-raised livestock cultivated with care and integrity.

Our work is also grounded in giving back, incorporating community-centered enrichment that supports youth development, social and emotional learning, and essential life skills through agriculture.
